FAQ
Is "Sign in" different from signing up?▾
Not right now. We're pre-launch and don't have separate authentication built yet, so "Sign in" currently takes you to the same early-access signup flow as everything else. Once real accounts exist, these will split into two distinct flows — this isn't the permanent design, just where things honestly stand today.
Do you host my music or my data?▾
No. Every embed on this site points back to wherever the content already lives — Spotify, Bandcamp, YouTube, SoundCloud, WordPress. We never re-host audio, video, or articles. Your own playlists and profile data are exportable as JSON or XLS at any time.
What happens to my catalog if I stop using this site?▾
You keep it. The catalog tool exports everything as CSV whenever you want, and nothing here requires staying on the platform to retain access to your own data.
Is this a finished product?▾
No — this is a working demo. Some features (the catalog tool, accessibility modes, playlist builder) are fully functional. Others (real user accounts, a live backend) are still being built. We'd rather be upfront about that than pretend it's further along than it is.
What if I need an accommodation the site doesn't have yet?▾
Tell us. Accessibility here is an ongoing process - please let us know how we can assist.
Do I have to be an artist to use this?▾
No. The discovery side — browsing, curating, playlists — is for anyone who loves discovering music and media . The catalog tool is specifically for artists, but it's one part of the site, not a requirement to use the rest.
Who decides what gets curated?▾
Curators. Anyone can submit a dispatch, and editors will post it presently.
How do genre pages work — are those Spotify's playlists?▾
Some are Spotify's own official playlists, some are playlists made by other Spotify users. As we expand, this will diversify.

A 19-minute teardown of the new Blood Orange record, embedded in full. The reviewer threads the needle between admiration and frustration — calling the production "the most ambitious thing he's touched in years" while picking apart a back half that loses its nerve.

"Search Engine" tackles AI music, and the irony isn't lost on anyone. Our listening pass flags a sharp 8-minute segment around the 24:00 mark where the hosts get into licensing — useful if you're skipping around.

Eleven tweets, no spoilers, all about pacing — pulled into the feed because forty people flagged it as the take that actually explains why the album's second half works.

A spoken-word reading gets a line-by-line response, recorded as audio. Rather than write it up, the critic recorded her own response track — playing excerpts and reacting in real time. An old radio habit that turns out to work well for poetry.

A hyperpop track that shouldn't work on paper — six key changes, no chorus — and somehow does.

Click the + next to any dispatch to add it here. Separate lists for music, video, and reading — each capped at 25 items. Name a list and save it to generate an embed code, so your list travels with you off this site too.

For artists — your catalog
Import your metadata from any distributor, track what's confirmed against your source platform, export the whole thing whenever you want it. Nothing here is locked to this platform — this is the same tool an artist would use mid-migration, not a toy version of it.

Accessibility
An open invite to differently abled musicians
Disabled, D/deaf, and neurodivergent musicians — including ASL-signing and Deaf artists — are welcome here from day one. We're still learning what full accommodation looks like, and we know that's a process, not a box we can check once. What we can promise: we want you comfortable enjoying and uploading content here, and a direct line to tell us what's not working yet. Let us know how we can do better.
Built for access
Contrast is computed against WCAG for every mode below — the same standard the rest of this build holds to.
Themes and access, together

Accessibility in progress
This is what's built so far. If something needs improvement please let us know.

Dyslexia-friendly spacing
This entire page just switched when you clicked a theme above. The dyslexia toggle increases letter-spacing, word-spacing, and line-height across the whole page — a real, working feature, not a decorative demo. Contrast is checked against WCAG for every mode, not eyeballed. The body text font, Atkinson Hyperlegible, was created by the Braille Institute of America for low-vision readability and is now in the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum's permanent collection.
